Station notes
About Airwave AI
Airwave AI is an automated monitoring station for AI tools. It exists because tools die quietly, get acquired silently, and change prices without telling anyone. This station checks every day and writes down what happens.
Methodology
Daily signal check. An automated checker requests each tool homepage once a day. A response, including a bot-block response, means the site is live. A redirect to a different company domain is logged as a move, which often means an acquisition or a rebrand. Three consecutive failures flag a tool as at risk. Seven consecutive failures mark it dead.
Rate card reads. The checker rereads each tool pricing page and compares every pricing line against the previous snapshot. When a page changes, the exact lines added and removed are logged, dated, and shown on the tool page. Snapshots are kept so the history can be audited.
Automation and honesty. Everything in the changelog is detected by software, not crowdsourced rumours. When the checker is unsure, it says so. Statuses are observations, not verdicts.
Limits
Some sites block automated readers, so a tool flagged at risk may simply be refusing our handshake. Pricing pages that require login or render only after heavy scripting may show as not tracked. We would rather show a gap than guess.
Coverage is currently 1048 tools and grows through submissions. If a tool you depend on is missing, send it in.
Who runs this
Airwave AI is run by an independent small team. It is not affiliated with any vendor in the directory. Paid placements are labelled, confined to the slots described on the advertise page, and never influence log entries. Contact: hello@airwaveai.com.
