Under the guidance of the Yale Task Force on Artificial Intelligence, the university plans to expand its research infrastructure by investing in graphics processing units (GPUs) and cloud-based GPU access, as well as hiring new computational research support analysts. This investment will enable researchers to leverage AI for various applications, from drug discovery to historical site reconstruction.
In addition to research infrastructure, Yale will provide secure access to generative AI tools through the Clarity platform, offering AI chatbot services and access to other AI tools like Microsoft Copilot Enterprise and Adobe Firefly.
