Case IH has introduced several automated features to its latest range of Farmlift telescopic handlers. The new operating modes and functions, controlled through a membrane keypad or colour LCD display, aim to make the operator’s job easier and more productive by providing optimal engine and hydraulics response for different loading, handling, and attachment scenarios. The selection of available models has remained unchanged from a previous range, except for the Farmlift 526 hydro-drive model, which now features a six-speed auto-shifting transmission called PowerDrive.
The Farmlift 636 and Farmlift 742 models have received a hydraulic upgrade, increasing the lift and lower times by 25% and allowing for faster work cycles. In addition, all models have replaced the previous hydraulic compensating cylinder with an electronic system that uses two angle sensors and an ECU to inform the tilt/crowd circuit. Other functions include active shake to shift materials, a semi-auto back-to-position feature, and improved continuous flow functionality. Operators can select from various driving modes for different tasks.
Prices for the Farmlift range start at £114,244 ($151,056) for the Farmlift 633 PowerDrive model and go up to £129,725 for the Farmlift 742 PowerDrive.
