Dallas airport’s AI reunites travelers with their lost belongings efficiently.

At Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport, artificial intelligence (AI) is being used to help reunite travelers with their lost items, according to CBS News. The AI software, operated by Hallmark Aviation Services, matches details about lost items with pictures and descriptions of found items, and about 90% of lost items that are found are returned to their owners. This technology has helped the airport return valuable items such as wedding dresses in time for the big day. The use of AI in lost and found departments is becoming more common, with other airports also implementing similar systems.
