The survey found that 87% of schools using AI in admissions say it sometimes or always makes final decisions on whether to admit applicants. Additionally, 55% of public colleges and 80% of private high schools currently use AI in the admissions process. The benefits cited by admissions officers include increased efficiency, improved decision-making, and reduced bias in the admissions process.
